EASTERLINGS OF RHUN

36 hours after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine and I'm feeling pretty ropy.... less ropy than if I had Covid 19 I daresay, so mustn't grumble.

Here are the Easterlings of Rhun. Described by Tolkien as being bearded and bearing axes, which is conveniently vague. Once again I've opted for Hinchliffe figures at 90p each, rather than Citadel figures at £5 plus each. These are Sarmatian axemen, soon to be in production again from Lancashire Games.

  1. Look excellent and very old school.
Give me the old school look any day at 90p, compared to citadel 'pocket money stealing' business model :)

    1. Unfortunately vintage Citadel figures command high prices. Having said that I watched 4 Minifigs eagles sell for £113 the other day.

  2. These are great, very old school in the best possible way. At 90p each I may even be tempted!

    1. Hinchliffe moulds are in transition from Hinds figures to Lancashire Games at the moment. I hope LG keep the prices low.

    1. Me too.... more and more. Non monopose units look a bit messy.
