BLACK URUKS FOR THISTLEWOOD

Rebased old school and glossed up, these chaos are now ready to fight.

19 Chronicle Hobgoblins and 1 Asgard orc

Not sure about the banner..... fits in with my post 80's figures but is it ok for 1983?

  1. They look fantastic and I reckon the John Barleycorn Reborn banner looks spot-on. Well done on more completed minis sir!

    1. Cheers Gaz.....I'll keep the banner then!! BTW there seems to be a real dungeon renaissance at hand with Mantic bringing out a new sort of Heroquest. I have been on at my local model shop to stock Reaper Bones and Otherworld so with luck that might bear some fruit.

  2. Lovely unit, they look murderous, they could work for AD&D lawful evil hobgobs with their uniform colours. Mind if I put pics in my Orctober thread, they certainly qualify?

    1. Hey Erny, I would be very pleased for them to qualify for Orctober....I was going to paint up some Age of Joman goblins for this august event but fear I will run out of time. Some Ral Partha orcs coming soon.

    1. Some of the faces are brilliant on these old sculpts...I think Nick Lund could be my second favourite sculptor after Dick Higgs.
