A study in practical nostalgia, travelling back to the early 1980's with a fistful of cash, to buy all the stuff I couldn't afford on a paperboys salary.
A quick unit for my Toyhammer army, a unit of fighting monks.
Splendid unit - simple colour scheme = the way forward.
With these Toyhammer units I'm trying to keep the colour palette to an absolute minimum.
Very striking, the black armour looks really imposing.
Looks better with a gloss varnish.
Celeriac is a great name for these splendid chaps.
It might become the Knights of Saint Celeriac.
Nice... where are these from originally? I don't recognise them
Thanks. They are from an old boardgame called Lionheart. Full of useful figures.
