LOYAL HALF ELVES

Here we have 20 Loyal Half Elves fighting for King Amias.  I like this Garrison figure so much I bought 40 for use in future Lord of the Rings games.

    1. Thanks Zhu.I'm really enjoying reading your historical forays. Nothing better than 70's fantasy gaming.

  3. Nicely done.
Admit I've always liked this figure but haven't got round to an army yet. Rather than the 'official' Garrison spearman I'll be using the Stygian spearman, for cavalry it's a goblin on a horse instead of riding lizard, light horse archer is either Late Roman or Byzantine - I forget which - which is basically a cavalry version of the Elf foot archer.

    1. Yes, the official spearman is a bit odd...good for provincial militia , but not very elvish. The Stygian chap is far better.
