MORE TROLLS

More trolls stampede through a hamlet. Another batch of underbridge dwellers to go with the previous ones I painted. This lot were done with washes rather than hightlighting which is much quicker. A mix of Citadel Fantasy Tribes and some great Asgard sculpts by Nick Bibby (his trolls are scaly which is good).

Below they muster with the older paint jobs.

  1. Nice trolls - the one nearest the camera in the top picture is particularly good. I remember having a pair of trolls that were dressed in sort of Greek armour, early Citadel I think. I know what you mean about the scales!

    2. Yes! They're the ones - I had 2 with swords and I painted them green.

  2. Lovely trolls ( if one can say such a thing if you know what I mean) but poor Hamlet however.

    1. Thanks.... sadly my painting isn't what it used to be. Less time and more wibbly vision. Are they rare? The Asgard guys I have had for years, but the Citadel chaps have been mainly in mixed lots of figures off ebay. The axe troll was broken , but fixed easily. Sorry you couldn't come to the last GROG game (my second visit to Harry's). Hope to see you in April...I am running Thistlewood :)

    1. Already on the case MM and have scored a few figures so far. I'll keep you posted and if you don't mind remove your post to deter competition! I'll post about it when negotiations have finished :)

  5. Good man I hoped you would have swooped. I was thrown off the scent for a while by not realising it was the new site. Have no fear you won't be bidding against me.
